Northern New England Group Presents Easter Seals with $50,000

The Northwestern Mutual Foundation awarded The Northern New England Financial Group of Manchester, NH, with the 2011 Community Impact Award for its work with Easter Seals of New Hampshire, an organization dedicated to providing exceptional services families and individuals with special needs throughout New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.

To recognize the ongoing efforts of Managing Partner Scott Christensen and his team, the Northwestern Mutual Foundation is awarding a $50,000 grant to Easter Seals to further support the organization's work in the community. Learn more in this YouTube video.

Steve Forbes and John Schlifske on
“The Power of a Game Plan”

Northwestern Mutual hosted a speaker series with Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media and John Schlifske, Northwestern Mutual chairman and CEO. Forbes and Schlifske shared their perspectives on the economy, the financial markets, and the importance of having a sound financial game plan in place regardless of market conditions. The event was part of a three day, seven-city tour and saw over 2,500 attendees. The Manchester event, which took place at Southern New Hampshire University, had over 250 in attendance.
